Xihaha - Spectrum Radio am 558
Art and Essay Competitions

An award ceremony was held at the school on the 17th of May 2008 to give prizes to those school pupils who have won both the Art and Essay compeitions. Photographs of the event can viewed online by following this link.

The school is most grateful to the representatives from Xihaha online bookshop and the representative from Spectrum Radio am 558 for judging all the entries for the competitions and for their generous prizes awarded to the pupils.

Harlow Chinese School has managed to raise a small sum of money to help the survivors of the earthquake in Sichuan province in China. All the money raised has been donated to the Red Cross Society of China.

The school would like to thank all those generous parents donating money to the school and also a special thanks to all those people engaged in the fund raising activity.

The school will announce plans for long term aid to the survivors of the earthquake in the near future.

 

 

暑期夏令营

暑假快要到了,您想让您的孩子怎样渡过这个假期?今年中文学校在听取了家长的意见和要求以后,决定首次开办中文夏令营。希望夏令营既可以让孩子们得到充分的休息,又为他们提供一个学习中文、了解中国历史和文化的场所。

夏令营开营时间:拟定于8月4日 – 8月30日,每日上午(9:00-13:00)和下午(13:00-17:00)。接受参加全日和半日的孩子参加,家长可以选择适合自己与孩子们的日期和时间段。为了方便家长们的上下班,学校从早上8:00以后开始接受同学,下午18:00关门。

 

 
Summer Camp 2008

Do you have anything planned for your children for this summer holiday?

After a brief consultation with parents of the pupils, Harlow Chinese School has decided to proceed to set up the first Summer Camp. We hope the Summer Camp can provide a balance between learning and playing.

The school has devised a programme for the pupils to learn Chinese; its culture and history. There will also be a range of fun activities such as games, songs, and drawings for the children to take part. For full details, please download the document in the link below:
